Service and Worship

Beginning fall 2012 SLCS will be replaced with Service and Worship.  What does this mean for you?

• Current and future students will no longer pay for SLCS.
• Service and Worship will be a graduation requirement, not a degree requirement.
• More options for achieving this graduation requirement will be offered.
• Required attendance will be based on points instead of events.  Students will be required to accumulate 100 points before graduation.(RN-BSN completion, Pinnacle Program and Medical Laboratory Science students will be required to  accumulate 30 points before graduation)  Each event attended under the old SLCS program will equal 10 points for current students whose initial term of enrollment was prior to Fall 2012.

• Your dean or program chair will answer specific questions pertaining to how this change impacts your degree plan.
