Student Health Insurance Deadline for 
Summer 2013 is
Monday, May 13, 2013.
If your form is not submitted, you will be charged for the insurance at $500, no exceptions after this date. 

Professional Liability Insurance

Students in the health professions are required to participate in various clinical learning experiences as a prerequisite to successful completion of programs of study. The clinical facilities where these learning experiences take place will only accept students who are covered by professional liability insurance. Accordingly, Baptist College of Health Sciences has arranged to provide coverage meeting the required coverage standards to all students who are enrolled in clinical courses through Health Provider Services Organization. All Baptist College of Health Sciences students enrolled in clinical courses must obtain coverage through Health Provider Services Organization, other personal liability insurance coverage notwithstanding.

The annual premium for this coverage will be $20 and will be charged with student billing for tuition and fees. All payments must be submitted to the College Business Office.

Student Health Insurance

This policy is offered by BCHS through United HealthCare Student Resources and offers very competitive rates at $500 per trimester per student.

If you are enrolled or will be enrolling in the Health Care Management Pinnacle Program, your health insurance rate will be $500 per trimester per student.

Special Note: If you do NOT wish to participate in this insurance, you MUST complete an outline insurance verification prior to the upcoming term of registration.

Miscellaneous Costs

In addition to the expenses noted, the student is also responsible for the cost of books, supplies, uniforms, transportation and meals, as well as health screenings and immunization expenses, assessment fees, and licensing/certification fees.
