NSG 306 Health Assessment (3)
Introduces basic concepts of health history and physical examination techniques for patients across the lifespan. Emphasis normal developmental changes as well as deviations from normal. Introduces age-related changes and assessment instruments. Explores physical, psychosocial, cultural, and nutritional dimensions related to assessment. This course serves as validation for prior nursing education for the RN-BSN student. A challenge exam is available for RN-BSN students with the approval of the Dean of the Division of Nursing. Two credit hours theory and one credit hour lab. Prerequisite: BIO 301, PSY 301.
