NMT 330 Nuclear Physics/Instrumentation (3)
Study of nuclear physics including radionuclide production, detection, and interaction with matter. Study of the components and performance characteristics of nuclear detectors including statistics of counting, performance criteria, energy spectrum analysis, and image production. Two hours lecture and three hours lab per week. Prerequisites: PHY 320 and NMT 354.
