An introduction to the concepts of infection, disease process, immune responses, and epidemiology. Focusing on bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and other agents responsible for major emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases affecting the world population in the 21st century. Prerequisites: BIO 201 or a college level biology course.
