Update: Nuclear Medicine Technology Pass Rate for 2013
The Nuclear Medicine Technology students who graduate Thursday, April 11, took their Board exams as soon as they were eligible and all have earned 100%.
Congratulations to the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) faculty, staff and students on a 100% pass rate on the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board (NMTCB) for 2012. The national average for first-time takers graduating from an accredited NMT program was 91% with the NMTCB. The NMT program has been offered by Baptist Memorial Health Care since 1961. BCHS has offered a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology since 2004 and has a 100% first-time pass rate since the NMT major was implemented. Upon completion of the program graduates may sit for the certification examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

The program chair for NMT is Kathy Thompson Hunt, M.S., CNMT, FSNMMI-TS and the clinical coordinator is Donna Mars, M.Ed., CNMT, NCT.
