Admissions Criteria

Baptist College of Health Sciences (BCHS) seeks academically well-prepared, highly motivate students who are interested in a career in health sciences. It is highly recommended that all applicants research the field and job shadow prior to selecting a major. Admission is based on a variety of criteria including grade point averages, standardized test scores (ACT, SAT), and entrance test scores (HOBET). Admission to the Nuclear Medicine Technology Major

Prospective students applying to BCHS will be asked to determine a major during the admission process. All applicants meeting admission criteria to BCHS are evaluated for placement into the major. Applicants for the NMT major are ranked using ACT, HOBET, and GPA scores. Students selected to BCHS and the major will be evaluated to determine clinical start time.
